what's more when you change to deans you no longer have small or large connectors on guns and battery's so all battery's connect to all guns ,that and they don't melt.

The only con to deans is not a real con but all airsoft guns dont come with deans and not many suppliers will sell you batterys with deans although Vapextech stock batterys with both types of connectors!
The component shop is probably the best battery shop around, they do absolutely tonnes of battery types with deans or tamiya, cheaply too

The smock and holster are very nice, but I think I'm gonna stay with my field grey M43 cap
when using the smock as the cover makes the helmet look like a giant mushroom! I guess it
could be fixed applying foliage and such, but oh well...
Gonna order the Jack boots with heelplate from Epic militaria next week. I'm talking about the standard black leather ones AND the wee more expensive roughout ones with studs. Anyone own a pair of either one and care to give their opinion on them?
i have the standard boots and you will need some leather softener before they are usable ,the leather is very stiff so allow plenty of time to break them in,i had the plastic sole replaced with leather at my local cobbler and that really improves the flexibility of the sole.having said all that they are really good strong boots and now really comfy as well.i did a thread on how to break them in called "breaking bund",it has the products i used to soften them etc.

@Dadio: Thanks alot for info! The thread you mentioned had some very good tips as well.
Abit OT, but have no idea where to ask this;
Anyone tried the bit more expensive ones? I'm talking about these ---> http://www.epicmilitaria.com/product.php/1488/reproduction-german-marching-boots
They sure look very good, as I like the more rough texture of the leather (and of course the hobnails!).
Nice matching pair of Ebony Clothe brushes 40p from a local charity shop

Don't know if this really counts, but :
After losing my WA Beretta M1934 at an open day this weekend (and assuming it was gone forever) I headed back there with the Missus to have a look, bloody typical that she wandered off and picked it up straight away
